Accessibility statement
Last reviewed: 11 August 2026
We want Dharma Rocks to be usable by everyone, regardless of ability or the technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with clear landmarks and a “skip to content” link.
- Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator.
- Colour contrast that meets AA in both light and dark themes.
- Respect for your system’s reduced-motion and colour-scheme settings.
- Text alternatives required for every image - you cannot upload a photo without describing it.
- The chapters map is paired with a searchable text directory of the same chapters, so it never depends on sight or a mouse.
- Automated accessibility checks (axe) run on every change, alongside manual keyboard and screen-reader testing.
Known limitations
The interactive map needs WebGL; where that is unavailable, the searchable chapter list is the equivalent, accessible way to find a chapter. Dharma Rocks is an evolving site - if you meet a barrier we have missed, we treat it as a bug to fix.
Tell us about a barrier
Please email hello@dharma-rocks.com with the page and what went wrong, and we will aim to put it right quickly.
